Digital image enhancement by brightness and contrast manipulation using Verilog hardware description language

A foggy environment may cause digitally captured images to appear blurry, dim, or low in contrast. This will impact computer vision systems that rely on image information. With the need for real-time information, such as a plate number recognition system, simple yet effective enhancement algorithm using hardware implementation is very much needed fulfil need. To improve suffer from exposure and hazy, implementations are usually based complex algorithms. Hence, aim of this paper propose less able quality images. The proposed method simply combines brightness contrast manipulation enhance image. In order see performance method, total 100 vehicle registration were collected, enhanced, evaluated. evaluation results compared two other methods quantitatively qualitatively.
